The Lewis River monitor in Woodland and the Washougal River monitor have been very useful during the heavy storms from a week ago. Unfortunately, the 5th Plain Creek sensor is not working so the monitor was in service for just a few days. The readings were way off.
We have asked Cresa to see if the county will install the XPONDR unit at 5th Plain Creek for us. They have the resources and it would benefit the county to have accurate reports of that waterway. We will keep you posted on this issue.
