EMERGENCY TIPS: AC POWER GROUNDING

The U/L standard 3-prong AC power line connecters are designed to prevent potentially lethal electrical shock from occurring. The 3rd round center pin is connected to the chassis or body of the electrical device. This ensures that various electronic devices have a common ground and thus prevents a person in contact with 2 different devices from being electrocuted.

NO NOT cut off or remove the center ground pin. If the ground must be eliminated, be sure the all devices connected to each other are plugged into the same power strip. Use a ground-lift adaptor to remove the ground.

120VAC is not something to be careless about. Be a grounded individual!
