All CCARES members, not just those on teams which would typically deploy to the field, need to know what gear is inside one of the portable radio “Orange” kits. This presentation will give you a look at what is in these kits and how to use them effectively.

RFI Detection

Has RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) become an unwanted factor in your radio operations? How exactly does one zero in on the culprits (emitters) inside their own home? What if the RFI source is next door, down the street, or even further away? Helping you answer these questions and effectively deal with RFI is the focus of this presentation.
