Winlink with an Orange Kit

Let your Team Leader know if you will be participating
Team Leaders make sure the computer batteries are charged and Winlink is updated. If you need help call or email the EC.
Be at the meeting location at 9:00 am to start setting up power and then the Orange Kits radios. If you need direction call on CLRK 2, someone will be monitoring.
Since some members don't have a lot of experience with the Orange Kits and Winlink we will setup groups with experienced and less experienced members. The less experienced members have an opportunity to learn and the experienced members can guide the newer members in setting up the equipment. Team Leaders, EC and AEC will be present to assist.
Objectives:
Have fun while learning
Everyone gets experience setting up a working station using the Orange Kit consisting of the FT 7900, antenna, Tinytrak 4 and Laptop.
Everyone will be exposed to different power options. We will have a generator, a high capacity battery system and
a couple of solar/battery systems.
Each group will send at least 2 Winlink messages via RMS or P2P to other teams at the event, using low power.
There will be a plan for which groups are sending messages to each other.
We will do an in person Hotwash at the end.
