Core skills training – Improving Your After Action Reports
Presented by Team 0:
Michael / AE7GQ
Overview:
As most members likely know, an After Action Report (AAR) is an important part of the debriefing after a deployment, exercise, or drill. When the AARs for the entire organization are compiled, they go into an Improvement Plan (IP). The IPs throughout the year are then used to help formulate future plans for training and exercises. All members are an important part of the cycle, so this presentation will focus on how to improve your AAR skills so that what you write will slip nicely into future activity planning for the organization.
Training Objective:
Review After Action Report protocols and introduce ways to improve reporting.
